Chiara Bugatti, 25, from Italy, the duo of spatial practitioners Cooking Sections -Daniel Fernàndez Pascual, from Spain, and Alon Schwabe, from Germany, both 31-, Astrid Myntekær, 31, from Denmark and Johan Österholm, 33, from Sweden, are the winners of the 2016 edition of the Artists’ Development Programme mentored by British visual artist Darren Almond.

Chiara Bugatti won the thematic focus residency on “The Imprint of Man – Representing the Anthropocene”,  Daniel Fernàndez Pascual and Alon Schwabe won the thematic focus residency on “Water and Ocean Preservation” organised in cooperation with Parley for the Oceans. Astrid Myntekær and Johan Österholm won the geographic focus residency targeting artists from Finland, Poland, Scandinavian and Baltic countries.

The  budding artists, selected out of a pool of 200 applicants, will spend two days in London getting to know Darren Almond and his studio and will then participate in a four week residency in Luxembourg.
