The EIB Institute invites applications for participation at the SIT Impact Bootcamp, which will take place in Lisbon, Portugal, from 4 to 11 December 2016. The bootcamp is organised in collaboration with Universidade Católica Portuguesa (Católica Lisbon – top business school in Portugal according to FT and in the top 20 for executive education in Europe) and takes places in their campus in Lisbon. The deadline for applications is 30 September 2016.
The SIT Impact Bootcamp is an intensive acceleration programme for impact ventures, bringing together the most promising and ready-to-scale ventures across the pipeline of SIT finalist projects and selected Portuguese social impact projects in a context conducive to learning, collaboration and network building. The programme, featuring an international faculty with deep expertise in the impact space, includes lectures on social innovation, scaling models, negotiations, fundraising and effective communications, and intensive pitching training sessions, closing with an Impact Ventures Fair to showcase the projects to potential investors and build bridges for future investment deals. On Saturday 10 December you will have the opportunity to pitch your project to an audience of European impact investors within the social impact space.
How to apply? To apply you need to prepare specific documentation on one A4 page and provide a 3-minute video that showcases your project’s promise and innovation.
