Koiki, winner of the SIT 2015, has just finalised a first round of funding of EUR 900 000 with five impact investors, three Spanish ones, B-Fund, Seed Capital Bizkaia and Creas Desarrolla as well as, for the first time in the Spanish ecosystem, international funds, PhiTrust Partenaires (France) and Oltre Venture (Italy).

Koiki is an initiative that enables people with intellectual or physical disabilities in Spanish neighbourhoods to work as postmen/postwomen or messengers, delivering parcels or picking them up from their neighbours, walking or biking very short distances from their homes or local stores.

Koiki, which is currently present in Barcelona, Bilbao, Girona, Madrid, Palma de Mallorca, Vitoria-Gasteiz and Zaragoza, will use the money to funds its international development.
