EIB Group (EIB and EIF) senior experts including EIB Vice-President Dario Scannapieco and Iliyana Tsanova, Deputy General Director European Fund for Strategic Investments, EIB, will participate in a course about Long-Term Investments and Public Private Partnerships taught at Bocconi University.
The course provides a framework to understand development and funding approaches of long term investments, mainly based on public private partnerships (PPP), and the role of institutions such Development Banks and Sovereign Wealth Funds. It is taught by Veronica Vecchi and Giovanni Gorno Tempini, former CEO of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti. The lectures will take place between 6 November and 21 November.
Guy Chetrit, from the European PPP Expertise Centre (EPEC), EIB, and Helmut Kraemer-Eis, Head of Research & Market Analysis, EIF, will be the other EIB Group speakers.
In February, the EIB Group signed a cooperation agreement with Bocconi University, the first with an Italian university, and coordinated by the EIB Institute.
A first series of seminars to present the EIB Group took place in April and May.
