Happy holidays and best wishes for 2019 from the EIB Institute!

What a year it has been! 2018 was the year of the first EIB Summer School, of the first EIB conference on the circular economy and of the first SIT alumni meeting.

It was the year of the EIB art collection exhibition at the Fondation Boghossian-Villa Empain (until February 2019) and the year we celebrated the European Year of Cultural Heritage with our partner Europa Nostra.

In 2018 we continued to support Europe’s best social entrepreneurs, research and universities and young European visual artists.

We donated for reconstruction after fires in Greece, Venezuelan refugees in Colombia and children impacted by the earthquake and tsunami in Indonesia.

And of course it was the year the EIB celebrated its 60th anniversary.

Enjoy the holidays and join us on 16 January 2019 for the first lecture of the New Year on “Inequality and women in politics” with Professor Alessandra Casarico, Bocconi University.
