On 30 November in Warsaw, 11 SIT alumni showcased their high-impact ventures at the 14th Annual Conference of the European Venture Philanthropists Association (EVPA).

The alumni – AdoptGrandParents, Aprendices Visuales, AUARA, Design by Pana, FARMIDABLE (pictured), FitforKids, GOODBAG, Clinix.Ai, KNOK, Patient Innovation and the Freebird Club – presented some of the most interesting social innovations being developed across Europe to a full room of venture philanthropists, foundations, business angels and equity impact investors.

The goal of this session – the second of its kind organised by the Institute – was to inspire all those interested in investing,  not only money but also human resources and network contacts, in fostering high-impact ventures that have a strong potential for replication and scaling.

All presenters are members of the SIT Alumni Network and were participants in the second and third SIT Impact Bootcamps, organised in collaboration with Católica Lisbon under the academic leadership of Professor Filipe Santos.

The partnership with EVPA started in 2017 in Oslo, when seven SIT alumni – ColorADD, Koiki, Progetto QUID, SPEAK, Apps for Good, Recicleta and Code for All – took part in the EIB Institute’s first session at the EVPA conference.
