The three calls for application for the Artists Development Programme 2019 are now closed.

The EIB Institute received a total of 316 applications for the three calls: the thematic call on “Disruption”, open to visual artists from all EU Member States; the thematic call on “Urban Rejuvenation”, open to visual artists from all EU Member States; and the geographic call, targeting artists from Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania or Romania.

A jury – consisting of Jorma Puranen (the mentor), external art advisers and members of the EIB Arts Committee – will now select the winners based on the artistic quality of their portfolio, their motivation and plan for the residency, and their potential to leverage this opportunity to further their career.

The selected candidates will be informed of the jury’s decision by email in March 2019. Results will be announced  shortly thereafter.

The Artists Development Programme is an innovative creative platform offering emerging visual artists (under the age of 35) a six-week residency in Luxembourg under the guidance of an established mentor.
