What can companies do to fight climate change? The most recent Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change special report reminds us of the urgent imperative to stay within the 1,5°C maximum temperature. Companies must take up their responsibilities and act. But at which level should they set their individual targets? Are they doing enough?
On 25 April, at the Cercle Cité in Luxembourg, Hans Otto Pörtner, Working Group II Co-Chair, IPCC and Alexander Farsan, Global Head Science Based Targets, WWF, will discuss the issue together with corporate representatives during the 2019 Luxembourg Sustainability Forum. The Forum will also tackle the subjects of gender equality and zero single-use plastic.
