Karel Koplimets is an Estonian artist living in Tallinn. He completed a Photography MA at the Estonian Academy of Arts in 2013. Karel is a member of the artist collective Visible Solutions LLC, together with Sigrid Viir and Taaniel Raudsepp. He has won the Annual Award of the Cultural Endowment of Estonia (2012) and was nominated for the Köler Prize in 2013. Karel has recently exhibited at the Riga International Biennial of Contemporary Art (Riga, 2018), Kiasma (Helsinki, 2018) and Kunsthalle Wien (Vienna, 2017). His works are included in several public collections in Estonia and Europe – for instance the Estonian Art Museum and Musée de l’Elysée, Switzerland.
