On 25 November, EIB Vice-President Dario Scannapieco will deliver the final EIB Group (EIB and EIF) lecture as part of a course for Masters students about Long-Term Investments and Public Private Partnerships taught at Bocconi University, to which the EIB Group contributes for the fourth year.

The course provides a framework to understand development and funding approaches of long term investments, mainly based on public private partnerships (PPP), and the role of institutions such as Development Banks and Sovereign Wealth Funds. It is taught by Professor Veronica Vecchi and Giovanni Gorno Tempini, Chairman of the Board, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti. The four EIB Group lectures will take place between 27 October and 25 November.

Other speakers include Iliyana Tsanova, Deputy Managing Director, European Fund for Strategic Investments, who will present the mission and achievements of the European Fund for Strategic Investments on 24 November.

In 2017, Bocconi University became the first Italian university to sign a cooperation agreement with the EIB Group.

The Institute manages partnerships with universities. It also organises and coordinates courses provided by EIB Group staff on the EIB’s Group role, missions and activities.
