Guy Chetrit has been at the EIB for over 20 years. He has been involved in project financing and public-private partnerships since the early 1990s. Whilst at the EIB, he has spent several years in London and Rome and has worked on the financing of a wide variety of PPP projects in the UK, the Netherlands, Italy and Greece. In 2010, Guy joined the European PPP Expertise Centre of the EIB as a principal adviser. He advises governments on designing PPP policies and frameworks and on developing sound PPP projects. He has been exposed to a wide range of PPP topics such as the financing of PPPs, PPP contractual techniques, the Eurostat treatment of PPPs, and the opportunities for using PPPs to deliver the Climate Agenda.
Prior to joining the EIB, Guy was with Société Générale in London, working on project financing transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors across the globe.
Guy is fluent in French, English and Italian.
