The Microfinance Centre has launched Leaders in Digital Era (#LiDE), a new series of training webinars targeting, in particular, microfinance institutions, SIT Alumni and EIB Group (EIB and EIF) customers. The next webinar – “How to reach consensus during online meetings” with Joanna Rada – will be held on Thursday 15 April at 11:00 (CET). The #LiDE series aims to equip leaders with the necessary skills and tools to effectively manage and inspire a team in the new volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous digital world ushered in by the pandemic. It builds upon the experience gained and lessons learnt from the Digital Literacy Bootcamp, a series of webinars about digital transformation in microfinance, which took place in 2020 and was co-financed by the Institute.
The #LIDE series will be complemented by specialised online Labs, financed by the Institute, and offering hands-on digitalisation-specialised sessions with experts on particular digitalisation subjects (only for selected participants).
#LiDE webinars are free-of-charge, conducted by experts in their field and open to the public. They are co-financed by the EFSE Development Facility and the European Commission. The Institute complements the activities of the European Investment Bank Group in the area of microfinance.
