On Wednesday 2 March, the EIB approved and immediately launched an unprecedented humanitarian aid package of €2.5 million to help the people affected by the war in Ukraine.
This donation is coordinated by the EIB Institute and will be deployed through the Institute’s trusted partner NGOs: Caritas, the Red Cross (IFRC), Johanniter, Malteser International, Médecins du Monde, Save the Children and UNICEF.
These NGOs are active both in Ukraine, -including in war-torn areas,- and at the borders.
