Dr Marc Ringel, an expert in environmental issues, affiliate professor at Sciences Po and full professor at Nuertingen Geislingen University, Stuttgart is the new head of the European chair for sustainable development and climate transition at Sciences Po.
Launched in 2020, the chair is co-hosted by two of Sciences Po’s graduate schools: the School of Public Affairs and the School of International Affairs. It is supported by the EIB, Hermès and HSBC France.
Through the EIB Institute, the EIB, the EU’s climate bank, aims to support academic research and share expertise to enrich knowledge building and knowledge dissemination on climate related issues.
To promote knowledge transmission, the Institute is supporting two university chairs, the EIB Chair on Climate Change Policy and International Carbon Markets (“EIB Climate Chair”) at the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence and the European Chair for Sustainable Development and Climate Transition at Sciences Po in Paris.
