The European Investment Bank Institute (EIB) and the Cité internationale des arts are pleased to announce the recipients of the 2022 edition of the Artists Development Programme (ADP).

• Laure Winants (Belgium, 30 years old) and Liviu Bulea (Romania, 32 years old) for the geographical call, targeting artists from Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Luxembourg, Portugal and Romania.

• Elsa Mencagli (Italy, 31 years old) for the theme “Margins to Centre / Periphery to Core”, which invites artists to meditate on societal and geographic interpretations of margins and peripheries and to address diversity and inclusion.

Pauline-Rose Dumas (France, 25 years old) for the theme “Disruption: The Imprint of Man”, which examines current social issues in the EU: the decline of solidarity and respect as values, the clash of generations, and the meaning of intra- and international relations.

This program offers emerging artists from the European Union, under the age of 35, a unique opportunity to develop their practice in a high quality professional context, without any material constraints. Each year, artists are invited to Luxembourg to develop an artistic project under the mentorship of an internationally renowned artist. For the 10th edition, the European Investment Bank (EIB) has entered into a partnership with the Cité internationale des arts de Paris, which will host the 2022 laureates while they produce works under the tutelage of Franco-Italian artist Tatiana Trouvé.
