Close to 600 visitors visited the EIB during the 2022 edition of Private Art Kirchberg (PAK), a biennal open-day of major corporate art collections in Luxembourg.

For the return of PAK, after an extended hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, visitors discovered the EIB’s latest exhibition, Unravelling which showcases socially-engaged and climate-conscious contemporary art. The exhibition features many of today’s most exciting artists: Kapwani Kiwanga, Taysir Batniji and Yan Pei Ming, hanging alongside emerging talent. The artworks encourage visitors to search for a deeper understanding of the complexities and riches of European identity. They invite emotional, intellectual and political growth.

Allen&Overy, Arendt, Clearstream, Deutsche Bank Luxembourgand UBS also opened their doors to art lovers and the curious public. Fonds Kirchberg organised art promenades.

Private Art Kirchberg is an open-day event for corporate art collections based on the Kirchberg plateau. Started in 2006, it gives the public the opportunity to visit collections – comprising paintings, sculptures, video art, photographs – and admire iconic architecture. This event  provides a new perspective on a neighbourhood that is usually known as a business or shopping district.

The EIB has been a participant to PAK since inception. The next edition will take place in 2024.
