Myriam Hadnes joined the Knowledge Programme Team as an external consultant in charge of setting up the EIB Summer School in February 2018.

As behavioural economist with a PhD from Goethe University Frankfurt, Myriam worked in higher education for most of her career. She developed and coordinated Summer School programmes in Germany, India, China, Brazil and Vietnam. For three years, she lived in Ho Chi Minh city where she supported the Vietnamese German-University in realising a capacity building project aiming to foster higher education in Vietnam.

Before joining the EIB, Myriam advised the president of the University of Luxembourg in his strategy process and set up the strategy and planning office – a central advisory office to the University leadership. Since May 2017, Myriam has been living in Amsterdam where she runs her own company and broadcasts a weekly podcast.
