Webinars

The EIB Institute organises, in partnership with renowned international institutions, numerous webinars on topics of interest for social entrepreneurs.

The webinars are delivered by international-oriented speakers with deep expertise, in both academia and practice, in social entrepreneurship, communications, leadership, fundraising and impact investing.

    • How finance and social impact go hand-in-hand: Social Impact Bonds (SIBs) in Portugal

Have you ever wondered how finance and social impact can go hand-in-hand? Margarida Anselmo from MAZE Impact will share the results of three impact bonds: @Projeto Família, which helps children and young people at risk of becoming institutionalised, @Faz-Te Forward and @Bootcamps Academia de Código, which both tackle unemployment through programmes for developing skills.

    • Build your business case for sustainability – Return on Sustainability Investment (ROSI™) methodology

Women (including girls) experience business-related human rights abuses in unique ways and are often affected disproportionately. With this in mind, the UN Working Group on Business and Human Rights launched a thematic project in 2017 to unpack the gender dimension of the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. In this webinar, we will provide practical recommendations for what it means to “protect, respect and remedy” the rights of women in a business context, in line with the report of the UN Working Group.
