The EIB Institute channels support, mainly through grants or sponsorship, to higher education and research activities, particularly in the field of applied economics within Europe.

We act as a catalyst for economic and social development within the EU Member States.

The EIB Institute values the arts and culture as an integral part of both effective community engagement and corporate social responsibility. Art is a unique source of dialogue, offering an extraordinary repertoire for learning, exploring, experimenting, interpreting the present and building the future. The EIB Institute safeguards cultural heritage notably through its partnership with Europa Nostra, the main European NGO dedicated to protecting Europe’s endangered cultural sites and monuments.

We also support Tunisia88, and Senegal88, programmes to promote musical education as a way to encourage mutual discovery and foster harmony across different cultures, in a country where there is no musical education for high-school students.
