Fulceri Bruni Roccia is the Head of the Knowledge Programme at the EIB Institute.
Fulceri Bruni Roccia is a lawyer. He joined the EIB in 1997 after having worked for eight years for the IRI Group. At the EIB, Fulceri worked for the Legal Directorate before becoming advisor to the Italian Deputy Minister for Economy and Finance (2002-2004). Upon his return to the EIB’s Legal Directorate he served as Deputy Head of Division for Italy, South East Europe and Turkey (2004-2010) before moving to the Compliance Directorate.
Since 2010, he has been a visiting professor on EU Policies and Global Political Economy at the University of Bologna’s Department of Political and Social Sciences.
Fulceri holds a “laurea magistrale” (master’s degree) in Law from the University of Bologna, a post-graduate diploma from SDA Bocconi and the Institute for Social Studies in The Hague (Erasmus University). He studied international relations at Sciences Po, Paris and at the University of Vienna. He is the author of several publications on legal and political aspects of international finance.
