The EIB Institute is a partner of the New European Bauhaus, the creative and interdisciplinary initiative launched by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, to “bring the EU Green Deal to our living places” and “calling for a collective effort to imagine and build a future that is sustainable, inclusive and beautiful for our minds and for our souls”.

    • New European Bauhaus financing instrument announced

      The EIB and the European Commission Directorate for Regional and Urban policy have launched two new model financial instruments in support of the REPowerEU and New European Bauhaus initiatives.

    • Projects selected for New European Bauhaus support

      Five projects have been selected by the European Commission for the development of ‘lighthouse demonstrators’ of the New European Bauhaus (NEB) to create more sustainable, inclusive, and beautiful spaces in locations across the EU and involve citizens in the green transition at the local level.

    • New European Bauhaus Festival

      The first ever New European Bauhaus Festival took place in Brussels from 9 to 12 June and the European Commission invited organisations, art collectives, institutions, universities, architects, cities, regions, companies, artists, students, scientists, innovators to become part of it.
