The Institute organises and coordinates courses provided by EIB Group staff on the EIB’s Group role, missions and activities.
Below is a list of courses organised with partner universities.

    • EIB courses at TU Dresden, Sapienza and College of Europe

      New EIB courses have started at TU Dresden, Sapienza and College of Europe Bruges.

    • EIB courses at Sciences Po and University of Luxembourg

      New EIB courses have started at Sciences Po on “Infrastructure and project finance” and at the University of Luxembourg on “Policy, assessment and evaluation of energy projects”

    • EIB meets La Sapienza 2021

      EIB meets La Sapienza 2021 started on 19 March with a course presenting the EIB Group. This is the fourth year the series of courses is taking place.

    • New EIB courses at University of Sofia and College of Europe Natolin

      New EIB courses are starting at University of Sofia and College of Europe Natolin with first lectures given by EIB Vice President Liliyana Pavlova for Sofia and Henry von Blumenthal, Deputy Dean of the Institute, for Natolin.

    • Certificate for inclusive finance: “A learning experience”

      The fifth edition of the Certificate in Law and Regulation of Inclusive Finance wrapped up on 28 January 2021, with 50 participants from 27 countries across Africa, Asia, Latin America and Europe completing the two-week course.

    • EIB Group courses at Bocconi University

      On 25 November 2020, EIB Vice-President Dario Scannapieco will deliver the final EIB Group lecture as part of a course about Long-Term Investments and Public Private Partnerships taught at Bocconi University, to which the EIB Group contributes for the fourth year.

    • New EIB Course at the University of Rijeka

      The University of Rijeka (Croatia) has become the 13th and latest European university to welcome an EIB course with a series on online lectures covering all aspects and missions of the EIB Group.

    • EIB meets La Sapienza

      The 2020 ‘’EIB meets La Sapienza’’ course ended on 22 May with a seminar on “The European Investment Fund: Social Commitment & Impact Finance”.Three other lectures took place on “The EIB Group Corporate Presentation” (24 April), “How do we work & how do we make decisions” (8 May) and “Investment Cost/Benefit Evaluation & Social Impact Evaluation” (15 May).

    • Research results on Western Balkans presented at Sapienza University

      Results of a STAREBEI research grant on “Investment for Growth and Development in the Western Balkans: The case of the Western Balkans Investment Framework” will be presented during two online lectures by the EIB tutor at Sapienza University on 20 and 21 May, 2020

    • EIB courses at TU Dresden

      The 2020 series of EIB courses for students from Dresden University’s School of International Studies has started in April with a seminar about the EIB’s history, role and missions.
