Sharon Brooks is a Senior Programme Officer at the UN Environment Programme World Conservation Monitoring Centre (UNEP-WCMC) supporting improved corporate performance regarding biodiversity and ecosystem services. Sharon oversees a portfolio of projects, working with a range of industry sectors, government institutions and finance institutions around the world, providing technical support and strengthening the use of data and science for improved biodiversity management.

Sharon has an MSc in Applied Ecology and Conservation, a PhD in the field of Conservation and Development and a background in conducting field-based research and conservation projects.
