The EIB has a cooperation agreement with CREDIT Network a network of universities aiming to promote research and training in credit risk and credit instruments. The EIB Institute supports and participates in the annual conference of CREDIT organized in Venice. The topic of the 2021 conference was Climate, Disaster, finance, Pandemic.
Since 2002 CREDIT Network cooperates on the development of projects and studies regarding credit risk via:
- conferences dedicated to specific aspects of the credit risk modelling;
- training activities including tutorials on credit risk;
- a one-year CREDIT doctoral workshop for advanced Finance Doctoral Students;
- a project Credit Risk Evaluation Designed for Institutional Targeting in Finance (CREDIT) to the People Marie Curie Actions under the Seventh Research Framework Programme (FP7).
