October Days

The October Days, organised every year at the EIB by the Institute, the University of Luxembourg and other partners, contribute to the global debate on the UN Sustainable Development Goals by enhancing dialogue among stakeholders.

    • COVID-19: October Days 2020 will go on-line

      Due to the coronavirus outbreak, the October Days 2020 will take place on-line on 22 October. A revised agenda and details of the format of the online conference will be announced soon.

      Spending money is not enough to implement the UN sustainable development goals (SDGs), said the panellists of the October Days for Sustainable Development 2018 dedicated to “Financing the SDGs”. Relevant governance structures, an appropriate legal environment and political will are also often lacking.

      How can companies and businesses contribute to implementing Agenda 2030? Conversely, can the UN sustainable development goals (SDGs) create value for enterprises?
