The EIB Institute, together with the EIB and the EIF are among the sponsors of the 20thMicrofinance Centre Annual Conference entitled: “Horizon 2037: Fair Finance for All” which will take place in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, on 24-26 May.
Mr Mladen Ivanić the President of Bosnia and Herzegovina, will open the two-day conference during which microfinance practitioners will reflect upon how major sector developments over the past two decades will serve them in the next two decades — and whether in 2037 they will be celebrating having reached full financial inclusion.
The event takes place in Bosnia and Herzegovina which boasts the most dynamic European microfinance sector and which will celebrate its own 20th anniversary — of the founding of the first microfinance institutions in Bosnia.
This event offers an excellent networking opportunity and should enable the identification of new activities for the EIB Institute in the field of microfinance.
