The EIB Institute — together with the EIB and the EIF — is supporting the 2022 European Microfinance Network (EMN) Annual Conference, which will be held in Brussels, from 15-17 June on the theme “Financial inclusion and the future of work”.
Finally back to its two-day format, with pre-conference activities on 15 June, the 19th EMN Annual Conference will look at the current state of play, find out what our focus should be at EU level, discuss the role microfinance institutions (MFIs) and other financial inclusion actors are destined to play in the near future, and much more.
From 15-17 June, a series of workshops on microfinance’s hottest topics, as well as keynote speeches and networking opportunities will bring together stakeholders for an exchange of views and practices, focusing on the essential: networking and bringing people back together.
Around 200 participants are expected at the conference, coming from all over Europe and beyond, including representatives from European institutions, investors, microfinance institutions, NGOs and fintech experts.
EMN has organised its Annual Conference every year since 2004 — and since 2015 with the regular support of the EIB Group. The conference is a major meeting on the sector’s agenda, bringing together players involved in European microfinance.
