Liviu Bulea (Romania, 32) lives and works between Turda and Berlin. For his BA and MA at the University of Arts and Design Cluj Napoca (Romania), he conducted artistic research on the diseased body, focusing on memories of spaces and objects from hospital oncology wards. His field of research extends from spaces of architectural memory to his involvement with the queer community. He is a PhD candidate at the University of the Arts in Cluj-Napoca, where he works on the relationship between art, architecture and the urban environment. He has exhibited his works at the Urban Nation Museum (Berlin), the Cluj-Napoca Art Museum (Romania), the Museum of Contemporary Art (Bucharest), MUMOK (Vienna) and more.
For the ADP residency, he has been selected for the Geographic Call, targeting artists from Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Luxembourg, Portugal and Romania.
