Silvia Rova is a postdoctoral researcher at the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, Italy. Her research mainly focuses on the analysis of multiple ecosystem services in the Venice lagoon and in the Adriatic Sea. A marine biologist by training at the University of Padua, she continued her studies at the Christian-Albrechts University of Kiel and at the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, where she had the chance work with excellent mentors who taught her the beauty of tackling complexity in social-ecological systems. She herself is a “complex” passionate researcher, mother and musician, and she loves it!
