On 21 May, Shiva Dustdar, Director of the EIB Institute, will speak at the opening session of the European University Institute (EUI) Climate Week.
The EUI Climate Week showcases the EUI community’s climate expertise and aims to bring together a diverse group of climate experts from around the globe. The conference provides a platform for participants to share knowledge, learn from each other’s policy experience and bring forth solutions to the most pressing issues on today’s climate change policy agenda.
This year’s edition focuses on key implementation issues related to the EU Green Deal in the context of a fundamentally changed geopolitical situation.
It takes place in the framework of the EUI’s State of the Union Conference and includes sessions co-organised with the EIB, the EU’s climate bank, and the European Commission.

The Chair engages with policy-makers in Europe and around the world on questions related to carbon pricing and sustainable finance covering policies in the fields of energy, industry, transport, trade, agriculture and forestry.
