The EIB Institute is an institutional partner of ERSA , the European Regional Science Association.
ERSA is the supranational grouping of national regional science associations across Europe. Its members are academics, policy professionals and researchers interested in spatial economics and planning, regional and local development and related issues. They are drawn largely from the disciplines of economics, geography and planning.
The Institute supports conferences or workshops held during ERSA’s Annual European Congress. In 2016 it welcomed for a seminar Bernard Fingleton, Director of research in the Department of Land Economy, University of Cambridge and laureate of the ERSA Prize. In 2017, it supported ERSA’s 57th Congress on “Social Progress for Resilient Regions”.
