On 30 November in Warsaw, the EIB Institute will showcase high impact ventures from the Social Innovation Tournament (SIT) for investors at the European Venture Philanthropists Association (EVPA) conference.

Eleven – AdoptGrandParents, Aprendices Visuales, AUARA, Design by Pana, FARMIDABLE, FitforKids, GOODBAG, Heartstrings, KNOK, Patient Innovation, The Freebird Club – SIT alumni will pitch to venture philanthropists, foundations, business angels and equity impact investors and give them a sense of some of the most interesting social innovations being developed across Europe.

The session (“Showcasing high impact ventures”) aims to inspire all those interested in investing not only money, but also human resources and network contacts in fostering high impact ventures that have a strong potential for replication and scale.

All presenters are members of the SIT alumni network and were among the participants in the second and third SIT impact bootcamps organised in collaboration with Católica Lisbon under the academic leadership of Professor Filipe Santos.

The EVPA Annual Conference, the ultimate event in social investment and venture philanthropy, will take place on 29 and 30 November in Warsaw.

In 2017, in Oslo, seven SIT alumni – ColorADD, Koiki, Progetto QUID, SPEAK, Apps for Good, Recicleta, and Code for All – took part in the EIB Institute’s first session at the EVPA conference.
